§ Basic technology for
manufacturing
KET has entered the wireless communications components business in
the late 1990s and has been accumulating automation technologies that
form the basis of production. For wireless communications components,
owing to the nature of the business, automation facilities for mass
production are especially important. KET has extensive knowledge on
the manufacturing automation technology, having automated the entire
process from bonding, assembly, marking, analysis and packaging.
§ Core technology
Based on the above technologies that form the basis of manufacturing,
KET has such core technologies as circuit design and PCB design
technologies, technology for analyzing the characteristics of components,
and EMI/EMC analysis technology. Based on these technologies, KET
is producing VCO and VC-TCXO products, which constitute the core
components for wireless communications. KET plans to participate
in the RF module market by applying these technologies to RF circuit
design and analog/digital IC design technologies, MMIC technology
and various IC analysis technologies.
